RV Collides with Gulfside Motel

Maureen Landress

Gulfside Motel owner Joe Brunofsky was at his desk early Friday morning (June 4th) when he heard a loud crash outside. When he went to investigate he discovered a large RV had run into the Motel's outdoor pavilion. The driver of the RV, Glen A. Colson, stated to officers on the scene that his brakes just didn't work. A check of his license and registration revealed that he did not have a driver's license and he was taken to the Levy County Jail. Though the driver did not suffer any injuries, his RV was a total loss. Damage to the pavilion was minimal.
