Comment on Nuclear Power Plant

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Levy County Commission will hold a public meeting on Thursday, August 7, 2008, to talk about Progress Energy`s application with state regulators to build a $17-billion nuclear power plant in Levy County.

The public is invited to comment on the utility application before the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in Courtroom A of the Levy County Courthouse at 355 South Court Street in Bronson, Florida.
