Paving in Cedar Key

Roadwork to start Soon!

Paving contractor, Art Walker Construction, Inc. will be setting up to resurface streets in Cedar Key between Monday, November 24 and Monday, December 1. Phase I calls for the work to begin on Hodges and Gulf Boulevard, starting on the west end of Hodges at Watson Circle and working down to Whiddon Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. The duration of the project is approximately three months.
Affected Streets:

Hodges, Andrews Circle, Gulf Boulevard (to the intersection of Whiddon), East Point Rd. (City owned East end), Cemetery, Indiana Ave., Ingleside Place, Paroda Ave. (City owned sections), Shellcrest Ave., Hawthorne Ave.,
As you drive to and from home, add a little extra time to your trip. Please keep in mind the typical work schedule for roadwork is from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The contractor will be using some street ends to store equipment. Please remove trailers and other personal items from the Right of Way.
