Speed Advisory Gadget on Gulf Blvd.

The golf cart shown is approaching the 25 mph limit as it heads west on newly paved Gulf Blvd.

Effective March 26, a radar device informed drivers on Gulf Boulevard of the speed of their vehicles. Cedar Key Police Chief Virgil Sandlin arranged to have the gadget on loan from the Chiefland PD. Chief Sandlin expects to move the speed monitor to various locations on the island.
