Local Girl Meets Hero

Local teen Laia Gore had the time of her life last Saturday, when she got to meet University of Florida Gator Quarterback Tim Tebow.

Gore attended the annual Fan Day at the university. She presented Tebow a handmade birthday card, knowing that his birthday had been the day before the event. He was appreciative of her card and had his photo taken with her.

Gore said of the meeting, "He`s the nicest person I`ve ever met." She is the daughter of Julie and Lamar Gore.
