Eve Bowen Jensen

Eve Bowen Jensen of Cedar Key passed away August 5, 2010 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland, Florida. She was 52 years old.

Eve was born September 4, 1957 and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Parnell Bowen, Jr. and Hope Ludlow Bowen, and her dear husband, Kyle Claude (K.C.) Brown.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah Bowen Parkhurst of Louisville, Kentucky, and her brother, Geoffrey Bowen of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Eve was a long time resident of Cedar Key who created some of the island`s most beautiful gardens. She loved to fish and was devoted to her many cats and exotic birds.

A service honoring Eve will take place Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall at the corner of Rt. 24 and 5th Street, Cedar Key. Memorials may be directed to Humane Society of Levy County, 7501 NE 110th Ave., Bronson FL 32621.
