Marion Irene Russell

Marion Irene Russell, of Cedar Key, passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice of Chiefland on Monday, October 18, 2010. She was 83 years old.

She was born to the late Mabel and Frederick Green on November 7, 1926, in Detroit, MI. Marion graduated from Dearborn High School in 1944. She married the late William L. Russell in 1945 and they lived together for the past 35 years in Cedar Key, until his passing in January 2008.

Marion is survived by four children: Sharon Dowell of Scottsdale, AZ; Mark Russell of Atlanta, GA; Scott Russell of Manteca, CA; and Keith Russell of Minneapolis, MN. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Haven Hospice of Chiefland, FL.

The family invites all friends to a memorial service on November 5, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cedar Key, Florida.
