Myrl Bell Richburg 1919-2010

Obituary

Myrl Bell Richburg of Chiefland passed away December 8, 2010 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. She was 91 years old.

She was born in Cross City on April 27, 1919 to James and Annie Sheffield. She spent her lifetime in the Tri County area and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Richburg was owner of Richburg Seafood Restaurant in Cedar Key. She was a Christian, loving mother, grandmother and wife. Her hobbies were gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by her grandsons, Preston (Joanne) Richburg of Chiefland, Tracy (Kimberley) Richburg of Newberry and granddaughter Glenda Richburg of Cedar Key, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Richburg, sons Gary and Bobby Richburg and grandsons Grant and Nelson Richburg.

Graveside services will be Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Key Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 11 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Chiefland.
