AARP Offers Safe Driving Class for Seniors

ANNOUNCEMENT

Older drivers can save on their automobile insurance by participating in an upcoming AARP Safe Driving Class to be held in Chiefland.

Florida state law requires that any insurance company doing business in the state must give a discount to those completing an AARP Safe Driving Course. It`s a good idea to update yourself and get information on newly enacted motor vehicle and traffic laws. Contact your agent for discount amounts.

The sessions are open to licensed drivers age 50 and older. The course fee is $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non-members. The fee covers all instructional material plus the 3-year insurance discount certificate. No driving test will be given.

Please call Linda Cochran, instructor, at 352-493-1742 to register for the one-day class, which will be held at the Capital City Bank, North Young Blvd, Chiefland, at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22 or Tuesday, March 15.
