SHINE representatives will be at the Cedar Key Public Library on Wednesday, October 26

ANNOUNCEMENT

SHINE, a volunteer program with the FL Dept. of Elder Affairs, will be in Cedar Key this week to assist residents in making an informed decision for their 2012 Medicare Part D Drug Plan or Medicare Advantage Plan. There will be a short presentation followed by individual counseling. All SHINE services are free, unbiased and confidential.

The SHINE representatives will be at the Cedar Key Public Library on Wednesday, October 26, from 10 a.m. until Noon. They will make a return visit on Monday, November 14 from 10 a.m. until Noon.

Low income Medicare beneficiaries should ask about Extra Help (LIS) to help pay for the 2012 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs.

Please bring your Medicare card, your 2011 Plan card (if any), and all your prescription drug bottles or a 90-day listing of your prescriptions from your pharmacy. If you prefer, call 1-800-262-2243 for other site visits or to be referred to a SHINE volunteer.
