Rickey Wayne Ezell

Rickey Wayne Ezell, II, 22 of Otter Creek, died Nov 13, 2011 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born June 16, 1989 in Leesburg, FL. Rickey was a member of Rosewood Baptist Church and worked at Usher Land & Timber as a mechanic. He was active in the FFA at Chiefland High School and sold a Grand Championship steer at the fair. Rickey enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a good hearted man and enjoyed helping and taking care of others.

He is survived by his wife Bessie Ezell and his 3 month old son, Griffin Wayne Ezell, both of Otter Creek, his parents Rick & Terri Ezell of Chiefland and Jim & Janet Hart of Bronson, brothers Ryan (Sara) Ezell of WA, Riley Ezell, and maternal grandmother Ellen Dunn both of Chiefland, paternal grandmother Annie Ezell of Wilmington, NC., and sister in law Kelli (Ben) Swilley of Chiefland and brothers in law James and Justin Hart, both of Bronson.

A reception is being planned at Chiefland Baptist Church Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00pm followed by a memorial services Thursday night at 6:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service in Chiefland with Bro. Billy Philman and Bro. Mark Collins officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a fund that will be set up at Drummond Bank for Rickey`s wife and infant son.
