Cedar Key Junior Class Pie Auction

Can you smell that sweet smell of cinnamon and pumpkin spice? That`s the aroma of the Annual Cedar Key Junior Class Pie Auction.

Playing on Cedar Key`s sweet tooth, the Juniors` are hosting the auction to raise money for Cedar Key Prom, Senior Banquet, and Homecoming. The event will be hosted in the Cedar Key Auditorium on November 21st at 6:30 pm.
The community is welcome to bake pies or cakes as long as they fill out a slip stating the ingredients. These slips can be picked up at the school front office. All pies need to be delivered by the 21st.

Mrs. Penny Bailey the Junior Class Sponsor exclaimed her hopes for the auction "I hope we have a large outcome of pies and people and that it is successful."


Cedar Key School Pep Rally

This Friday the Cedar Key Sharks will be showing their school spirit with the first pep rally of the season.


The Cedar Key Cheerleaders will be hosting and putting on the pep rally along with volunteers from the crowd.


Cheerleader, Haley Simpson, said "We have a lot of fun things scheduled for the pep rally. The girls and I really want to show as much school spirit as possible, and involve the students as much as we can."


The pep rally is scheduled for 1:45, Friday afternoon, in the school gym. Show your shark spirit by wearing purple and gold.
