Levy Nuclear Plant Hearing

In response to environmental concerns the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (ASLB) will hear objections to plans for a nuclear power plant in Levy County.

The hearing will be January 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. in Crystal River at the Plantation Inn, 9301 West Fort island Trail. At issue appears to be the use of salt water and fresh water and possible damage to the aquifer.
