Obituary

Irene Ball, 84 of Bronson passed away Jan 24, 2012 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland. Born to Edward and Lula Smith in Williamsburg, KY, she has been in this area since 1963. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading and traveling. Mrs. Ball was a teacher for 7 years but took pride in being a homemaker, caring for her family.


She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Elmer Ball of Bronson; daughters Linda Ruth (Glen) Simpson of Gainesville; Kathy Aileen (Mark) Armstrong of Asheville, NC; sons David Addison (Dolores) Ball of Asheville, NC; Thomas Edward (Lisa) Ball of Viera, FL; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, Jan 26 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Ball`s memory to the
National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
