Levy County Delta Kappa Gamma Society Inducts New Officers and Members

May 7, 2012, Levy County Delta Kappa Gamma Society assembled in Cedar Key to induct new officers and members. Delta Kappa Gamma is a private association founded in 1929 to empower women pursuing professions in higher education. Through this society members are offered grants and scholarships that further provide professional growth.


State President Carrie Frye, encouraged new members to become actively involved in their association and explore the opportunities available through Delta Kappa Gamma.


During this auspicious event, incoming Officers were named and accepted. Chris Faircloth, newly appointed Delta Kappa Gamma President expressed appreciation to outgoing officers for exceptional service.


Following the induction ceremony and Delta Kappa Gamma sing-along, members enjoyed sisterhood fellowship and fine cuisine.
