CITY OF CEDAR KEY PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

UPCOMING ELECTIONS FOR CEDAR KEY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT

Three of the five Cedar Key Water and Sewer District, each two-year terms, are open:

- Group Number 2 currently seats David Beach
- Group Number 4 currently seats Thelma McCain
- Group Number 5 currently seats Chris Reynolds

The QUALIFYING PERIOD begins on Monday, March 18, and ends Friday, March 22, 2013, at noon, a four-and-a-half day period.

ELECTIONS will be held on May 7, 2013, at City Hall, 490 Second Street, Cedar Key. In the event that no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast, a RUN-OFF ELECTION will occur on May 28, 2013, between the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes cast. Polls will be open from 7AM to 7PM on election day(s).
