Lions Elect Officers, Welcome New Members, Hear About Haven Hospice and Enjoy Hot Dogs

The Cedar Key Lions Club had a jam packed member meeting on their April 23 Hot Dog Night, where they elected new officers for the 2013-2014 year, enjoyed grilled hot dogs and heard a presentation by DeAnna Beverly, Administrator of Haven Hospice, Chiefland. In addition, Membership Chairman Dick Wescott presented new member Welcome Packs to new members Bob Hudson and Eileen Bowers and recognition certificates to their respective sponsors, Lions Maurice Hendrix and Judy Duvall.

Lions elected the following members as officers for the the July 2013-June 2014 year: Steve Rosenthal, President; Dale Register, 1st Vice President; Kellie Parkin, 2nd Vice President; Sarah Cardona, Treasurer; Faye Sanders, Secretary; Pam Oakley, Immediate Past President; Dick Wescott, Membership Chair and Director; and Ralph Selby, Lannie Cardona, Bill Stephens and Maurice Hendrix, Directors.
