RECENTLY SEATED COMMISSIONER PAT O’NEAL RESIGNS

Cedar Key Commissioner Pat O`Neal, who took office in May 2013, announced his resignation effective July 17, 2013, at the City Commission meeting yesterday evening at the regular, combined Community Redevelopment Agency and City Commission meeting convening at City Hall at 6PM. O`Neal announced that he was unexpectedly offered a position as the lead economic development specialist this past week with the federally-based Small Business Administration for the state of West Virginia.

The commission`s job is to appoint a replacement for Mr. O`Neal.
