Chief Theatre presents its youth summer workshop of Disney Descendants. The plot revolves around the teenage children of classic Disney villains who have lived their lives in exile. The teens are now being sent to prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes. The kids have to make the decision to follow in their parents' wicked footsteps or learn to be good.
The cast features kids and teens from Levy, Dixie and Gilchrist counties ranging from age six to high school seniors. They include Jess Adkins, Julia Adkins, Maddy Baker-Johnson, Morgan Biggs, Cameron Cannon, Sofia Carnley, Jose De La Cruz, Olivia DeMille, Hazel Dwyer, Jensen Dwyer, Rachel Elmore, Gabriel Hill, Avery Horrigan, Abby Jackanicz, Makayla Justice, Kalina Hawk, Tyler Matteson, Charley Matthews, Parker Matthews, Brooke Plant, Champion Plant, Isabel Sanders, Bailey Smith, Carter Smith, Lorelei Smith, Christopher Snow, Harper Tekavec, Hunter Tekavec, Jacob Walbaum, and Jenna Walbaum.
The musical is written by Nick Blaemire and presented by special arrangements with Musical Theatre International. This production is directed by Hailey Horrigan.
