STRONGER THAN THE STORM

Thanks to the heartfelt creativity and generosity of Sebring, Florida, artist Tammy Acher, an original acrylic painting entitled Stronger than the Storm will be auctioned at the Cedar Key Fine Arts Show this Saturday. Although she will not be at the event this year, Tammy has been an exhibiting artist many times at the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts and was the Design Contest Winner in 2020 when the event was cancelled because of COVID. Like many others who love Cedar Key, Tammy felt helpless and heartbroken after Hurricane Helene and found comfort in creating Stronger than the Storm, to show her love and support for the people and businesses.
Prints of the artwork will also be available for $10 each at the Information Booth. Proceeds from the auction and sales of her donated artwork will benefit the Cedar Key Arts Center, coordinating sponsor of the Fine Arts show whose building, like so many others in Cedar Key, sustained damage in the storm.
