The Cedar Key Community Redevelopment Agency met in workshop session, prior to the City Commission Budget Workshop, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 5 pm in City Hall. The CRA Workshop adjourned at 5:10 pm. The City Commission Budget Workshop followed.
Members in attendance included: Chair Jim Wortham, Nancy Sera, Jeff Webb, and Jolie Davis. Vice-Chair Sue Colson was not in attendance. . County Commissioner and Cedar Key CRA Member John Meeks was not in attendance.
PROPOSED BUDGET FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025
The Cedar Key Community Development Agency 2024-25 posited revenues and expenses of $1,288,311. Agency members unanimously agreed upon the proposed budget.

Among the differences in last year’s and this year’s budget is the inclusion of legal fees, audit fees, and potentially some staff salaries.

Staff in attendance included: City of Cedar Key Attorney Norm Fugate, Police Department Chief Edwin Jenkins, Fire Chief/Emergency Operations Director Robert Robinson, Public Works Supervisor Jamie McCain, Interim City Clerk/Building Clerk Jennifer Sylvester, Deputy City Clerk Telicia Winfield, and Clerk Heather Lang.
