CEDAR KEY WOMAN’S CLUB MEMBERS MAKE, DELIVER QUILTS

Cedar Key Woman’s Club members delivered 57 handmade lap quilts to Haven Hospice in Chiefland recently. The red, white, and blue quilts were made to be given to Veterans during a recognition ceremony that Haven staff and volunteers provide to veteran patients. Cedar Key Woman’s club members and friends of the club donated supplies and material to complete the quilts. Bunny Hand did the quilting on most of the quilts. This is an ongoing project of the CKWC sewing group for the past three years.
