If you’ve lost your job due to the recent disasters, you may be eligible for Disaster Unemployment Assistance, a special support program created by Florida Commerce. This program is designed for people affected by disasters and has fewer eligibility requirements compared to regular unemployment assistance.
To help you with the application process, we’ve arranged for CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion to bring a mobile office to Cedar Key. The mobile office will be available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the possibility of staying longer if needed. It will be equipped with computer workstations, and staff will be on hand to assist you with understanding the program and registering.
