Obituary

Alice Morris, 72, of Otter Creek passed away in Williston at the Tri County Hospital on Aug. 12, 2012. She was born Jan 3, 1940 to John H. & Inez (Mizell) Phillips in Parrish, FL. She has been in this area all her life. Alice was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and crocheting, watching TV and her dog Casey. Her family and children gave her =much enjoyment.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Morris, daughters Kimberly (Frank) Osteen, Edna "Sissy" (John) Moore, all of Otter Creek and Sherri Len (Jim) Grigartis of Gastonia, NC, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and2 great great grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her son, John Morris, Jr.
Graveside Services will Friday, Aug 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Antioch Cemetery in Chiefland with Bro. Billy Keith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
