“FESTIVAL CAKES” A SWEET TRADITION

“FESTIVAL CAKES” A SWEET TRADITION

Eileen Senecal

For many years the Cedar Key Woman`s Club has offered to bake desserts for restaurants over Festival weekends. This offers a service to our Island hosts over the extremely busy days, when thousands of visitors come to Cedar Key, and the donations for "Festival Cakes" help our community.

The Cedar Key Woman`s Club supports the community with donations to the School, Library, Food Pantry, Senior`s lunches and other charitable projects.
In recent years the Woman`s Club extended this service for private household orders, too, and the community responded. A large homemade cake may be ordered for a donation of $20, or a pie for a $15 donation.

Call 543-6950 and request a delicious dessert and support your community.
