Robby McCabe graduates from Air Force Basic Military Training

Robby McCabe graduates from Air Force Basic Military Training

Bobby McCabe

Robby McCabe son of Bobby and Janis McCabe graduated November 16, 2012 from Air Force Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.


Robby graduated with distinction exhibiting the highest level physical fitness attaining Warhawk status. He was a member of the Honor Flight 717 of the 323rd Training Squadron. His flight had the highest cumulative academic, physical fitness, and marching skills scores. Flights 717 (males), and 718 (females) also composed the Drum and Bugle Corps.


Robby a former captain of the 2011 Chiefland Indians football team and leading rusher and tackler rarely revealed he was also an accomplished baritone player. He also was his flight`s Guidon Bearer and led his unit carrying the flight`s distinguishing flag.


Robby will report to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio on November 19th to continue his training as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician. Robby, a member of the Air Force Reserve is attached to the 45th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Mac Dill AFB in Tampa.


Upon graduation from technical training and Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape training in Washing ton State he will join his unit. The mission of Evacuation Squadrons is to fly to war zones to evacuate our wounded troops to higher level medical care overseas and in the states.


When he is not doing his reserve duty he will attend Tallahassee Community College.
