Obituary

Kay Dean Richburg age 66 of Cedar Key, FL passed away on November 17, 2012.


She was born on July 2, 1946 in Levy County, FL to William and Claris Osteen.


She was born and raised in Levy County and was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cedar Key, FL. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and she was a past State Madame President.

She enjoyed cooking and making silk flower arrangements. She worked many years as a cook and cashier.


She is survived by her daughter Glenda Richburg; sisters Patty Jean Watson (Gene), Clarinel Castell (Tommy), Carolyn Pierce, Cindy Alford (Johnny); granddaughter Amanda Richburg and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Richburg will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Annie`s Cafe in Cedar Key. Fl. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Cedar Key Cemetery with Pastor Todd Pope officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home-Chiefland.
