December 1 - Gallery Opening at Cedar Key Arts Center

Mary Bottenberg

The Cedar Key Art Center is extremely proud to be offering two dynamic shows this month. Florida`s Eden: Vision for the Region in the Main Gallery and Bev Ringenberg: Contemporary Fused Glass in the MAG. The shows run through December 30th

Founded in 2002, Florida`s Eden uses the power of arts and culture, and the dual assets of our natural environment and creative population, to unite the people of North Florida so that together we can address our most profound educational, economic and environmental challenges.

The Gallery opened Saturday, December 1 to a crowd eager to take in the wonder these talented artists provided. Through a variety of mediums, Jacqui Collett, exhibition curator for Florida`s Eden carefully selected pieces that beautifully depict and represent the Region`s stunning and cultural assets. Florida`s Eden is an initiative of the Artists Alliance of North Florida

Bev Ringenberg`s Contemporary Fused Glass thrilled the crowd through it`s color, composition and vibrancy. Her show is a terrific balance of light and texture, form and function and every vignette offered the eye a new and delightful experience.
