Cedar KeyHole Artists of the Month

Marsha Schwartz

The Artists of the Month at the Cedar Keyhole in Cedar Key FL, are Donna and Dave Tanck, a husband and wife team of glass artists. Minnesota - born but Floridians at heart.

The Tancks create all types of handcrafted art glass, including jewelry, window panels, stepping stones, tables, sun catchers, vases , kaleidoscopes , incense burners, night lights and more. They work together, using a variety of processes to create their art which include fusing, slumping, elad caning, foiling and soldering.

They accept commissions as well as exhibiting in regional venues. The stepping stones can be used to brighten up a garden, patio, pool deck or walkway.

The Cedar Keyhole, a 21 artist co-op is located on 2nd St in the quaint clam farming village of Cedar Key and is open 7 days a week except on Christmas and Thanksgiving days, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
