Cedar Key Woman’s Club Annual Arts Competition

Cedar Key Woman`s Club

Blue Ribbon winners at the Cedar Key Woman`s Club annual Arts competition, held at the Community Center on January 23, will go on to Gainesville in February to compete in the GFWC Florida District 5 competition. Judges for the event were well-known Cedar Key artist Sandi Allen and photographer Kelly Parkin.

At the CKWC Arts Luncheon, a new Culinary Desserts Category was judged by Peter Stefani and Debbie Weaver (seated). Joyce Patti, Arts Chair for the CKWC, was the organizer for the very successful event. Prize winners in this category included Eileen Senecal, Joan Selby, Jan Hendrix, Janet Ramsay, and Jane Moore. The Island Room and The Island Hotel generously donated prizes for this competition, and guests then sampled the goodies for dessert!


Teri Brennan and Debbie Franks staff the tea table at the CKWC Annual Arts luncheon, held Jan 23.


Arts Chair Joyce Patti and former member Jean Skaife supervised the door prize drawings, donated by The Curmudgeonalia Book Store and The Cedar Key Emporium.
