CEDAR KEY WOMEN’S CLUB HOSTS 27TH ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER

CEDAR KEY WOMEN’S CLUB HOSTS 27TH ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER

Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce

January 28, 2013 - A winter tradition for locals and visitors alike, the annual spaghetti dinner hosted by the Cedar Key Women`s Club will take place this year at the Cedar Key Community Center on 6th Street. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 pm Saturday, February 9 (dine in or take out).

This annual community dinner is one of several social and fundraising events the Cedar Key Women`s Club sponsors each year. Through such efforts, the Women`s Club raises funds to pass on to local Cedar Key organizations such as the Food Pantry at the Methodist Church, the Cedar Key School, the Cedar Key Library, the Cedar Key Volunteer Fire Department, as well as to the national organizations Support Our Troops ( http://www.supportourtroops.org ) and Fisher House ( http://www.fisherhouse.org ).

Tickets for the Spaghetti Dinner are available from Cedar Key Women`s Club members and at the Cedar Key Emporium on 2nd Street.

A $10 donation buys a spaghetti dinner with salad and garlic bread, homemade dessert, and iced tea or coffee. (For children under 12, the requested donation is six dollars.)

Cedar Key`s Women`s Club was formed in 1960.
