PALMS MEDICAL GROUP RENEWS TITLE SPONSORSHIP ROLE FOR CEDAR KEY’S 49th ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL, APRIL 13-14

PALMS MEDICAL GROUP RENEWS TITLE SPONSORSHIP ROLE FOR CEDAR KEY’S 49th ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL, APRIL 13-14

Submitted by Laura Matson Hahn, Event Coordinator of Old Florida Celebration of the Arts

For the fourth consecutive year, Palms Medical Group has elected to be the Title Sponsor for the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Festival in Cedar Key.

As Title Sponsor, Palms Medical will be underwriting key advertising elements which support a strong patron turnout on the festival days, April 13 and 14. Radio, television and print ads have been placed to create awareness of the festival, and the special events, including a record-breaking 154 Fine Artists, the delectable, fresh local foods by Cedar Key non-profit groups, and the We Heart Art program, where festival patrons can place a heart sticker on booths with art that inspires their heart!

The goal of the festival is to bring a diverse range of quality art to the area so festival attendees can see and feel what art speaks to them. "If you ask 10 people `What is fine art` you will get 15 different answers," explained OFCA Festival Committee Member, Beverly Ringenberg. "Art is a personal choice and the art festival gives everyone the chance to discover what they love."

As a not-for-profit primary healthcare provider, Palms Medical Group pro-actively sponsors many cultural activities in the region. With offices in Bell, Branford, Chiefland, Bainesville, Trenton and now Starke and Williston, they choose to support venues that their customers and potential customers enjoy.

"We have supported the Cedar Key Arts Festival for four years because it is a positive family event." Affirmed Eileen Senecal, VP of Development and Outreach. "Sharing art in the open air with your kids, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends is fun, exciting and inspiring, which matches our values as a family focused health care provider."

The free festival also includes all types of music spun by DJ Robert LaPuma, who vows to get every toe tapping, Storytelling by professional Florida Storytellers, and the best homemade food and seafood at great prices! Mark your calendars for an inspiring weekend at the Cedar Key 49th Annual Fine Arts Festival, April 13-14, 2013 10am to 5pm
