CKWC Members Take Home Blue Ribbons at Gainesville District 5 Arts Competition

Cedar Key Woman`s Club

Cedar Key Woman`s Club members took Blue Ribbons in many categories at the recent Gainesville District 5 Arts competition. Best in Group Category was won for the Patriotic Quilt, seen here with stitchers Chris Black, Janet Ramsey, Eileen Senecal, Millie Bayha, Rosemary Danesi, and Susan Hollandsworth. This is the CKWC quilt raffled last spring, which raised $2500 for Fisher House.

CKWC Arts Chair Joyce Patti`s Drawing, "Evolution of Woman", was awarded the prestigious Best in Show ribbon at the GFWC District 5 competition last Saturday. Her work will now go on to the State competition in Orlando. Blue ribbons were also won by Susan Hollandsworth, Chris Black, Priscilla Alford, Kate Wyrosdick, and in the group category.
