Obituary

Bonnie Ann Smith White, 56 of Cedar Key, passed away Feb. 27, 2013 at Hospice of the Nature Coast of Citrus County in Lecanto. She was born in Duluth, MN and moved to this area about 30 years ago from St. Petersburg. She worked for the Levy County School Board as a custodian. Bonnie was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Her passion was line dancing and square dancing, fishing and gardening, and crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed animals and the time she spent being with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Elmer White of Cedar Key; son, Scott Austin White of Keystone Heights; stepdaughter, Kathy White of Ft. White; mother Nancy Rushford of Homosassa; sisters, Cheryl Smith of Homosassa, Rene Leins of Orlando, Phyllis Fuqua of Homosassa, Yvonne Ball of Orlando; several nieces and nephews, many loving friends, and her loyal dog, `Bubba`.


Funeral Services will be Monday, March 4th at 10:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:30 PM on Monday.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. White`s memory to Hospice of the Nature Coast Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
