George A. Delaino Sr.

Obituary

George A. Delaino Sr., 86, of Cedar Key, passed away April 2, 2013 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland. He was born in Cedar Key to the late W. P & Edna `Essie` Estelle (Bertine) Delaino on Jan. 28. 1927. Mr. Delaino proudly served his county in the US Navy during WWII. He retired after 23 years with the Levy County School System as a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Jean Delaino of Cedar Key; sons, Timothy Delaino and Jay Delaino; 4 grandsons, 2 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, George A. Delaino, Jr, brother, W. E. Delaino, Sr, and sisters Doris Delaino, Anne Rowland, Virginia Walrath and Geri Rohrbacher.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Key Church of Christ with Rev. Daniel Carswell officiating.
