Obituary

James W. Bishop 81 passed away Sunday April 7, 2013. James was born and grew up in Cedar Key, Florida to Joseph and Lillian Bishop. James was raised in Cedar Key and will be laid to rest there also. Mr. Bishop served his country in the United States Navy. James has lived in Deltona, Florida for the last 22 years.

Mr. Bishop was an ordained minister and a missionary, traveling to various places spreading the word. He has also gone on missionary trips to other countries such as Haiti. James was of the Pentecostal faith and lived his life as a true believer.

Mr. Bishop leaves to cherish his memory, wife Helen Bishop, Deltona, FL. Sons, Jimmy Bishop, Hudson, Fl., Joe Bishop, Cedar Key, FL., Daughters Lilly Rooks, Cedar Key, FL., Cheryl Richburg, Cedar Key, FL., Rhonda Trump Canton, Ohio, sister Irmajo Crain, Midway, GA. to include 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Knauff Funeral Home Chapel, Chiefland from 6:00-8:00 pm. Graveside services will be Wednesday April 10, 20131:30 pm at Cedar Key Cemetery. Reverend Billy Philman, Reverend Dale Matthews and Reverend Lou Castriota will be officiating.

Services are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, Florida 715 West Park Ave, Chiefland, Florida. For further information please call 352-493-4777.
