CEDAR KEY WOMAN`S CLUB fundraiser for FISHER HOUSE

Cedar Key Woman`s Club

The CEDAR KEY WOMAN`S CLUB fundraiser for FISHER HOUSE of Gainesville came
to a "finale" on Sunday during the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts.
A beautiful queen size quilt was donated last fall by Judy Byrne, of Hondo,
Texas. Judy is the sister of C.K. residents, Charles and Charles Ramsey.
The CEDAR KEY WOMAN`S CLUB sold 500 tickets and collected over $2000 in
donations for the quilt raffle- --and the winner was Kris Swanson of
Bigfork, Minnesota.

Kris was delighted with her prize, and she and her husband are part-time
residents of Cedar Key since 1994.

CKWC would like to thank Capital City Bank, Drummond Bank, and the Salty
Needle Quilt Shop for helping the club with this fundraising!

Fisher House Fundraising will become a focus for the CKWC as well as the
Support Our Troops program which began in 2002.

Keep your eyes open for the next CKWC fundraising effort for these well
-deserved programs helping our veterans and troops.
