CALL TO ARTISTS FOR 2014 DESIGN

Submitted by Laura Matson Hahn, Event Coordinator of Old Florida Celebration of the Arts

The 2014 Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Festival is calling all artists for submissions to the DESIGN CONTEST for the 2014 image for the festival.

The Theme is the iconic "HONEYMOON COTTAGE" that has stood in the gulf off First Street since it was built in 1954 by the Thomas Family (also of the museum center in Gainesville)

As it is now about to collapse, it is a fitting time to ask artists of all mediums to consider it as the source of inspiration for the 2014 OFCA Design Image.

We are requesting submissions in any medium, in any time frame.
Submissions are due by August 1.
Winning Selection will be used in all the festival`s designs: Flyers, T-Shirts, Posters, Commemorative Book and be featured in articles about the festival and the design artist.
