Cedar Key Lions Do Road Cleanup

Eight Cedar Key Lions and volunteers set out on a beautiful spring morning on May 31 to pick up roadside litter along the two miles of state road 24 leading in to town.

The Lions collected over 80 lbs. of trash and reported the location of a dumped mattress and bedsprings at the waterside before the # 4 bridge to the Florida DOT, sponsors of the the Adopt-a-Highway program.
