A benefit dinner will take place at the Cedar Key Community Center on Wednesday, April 8, with proceeds going to help Richard Boivin ("Bove"), who was seriously injured in a three-wheeler accident last weekend, and his family. Darlene and Bryan Skarupski, The Market, Bryan`s Big Deck Raw Bar and friends of Richard Boivin will host the benefit dinner, which will take place from 5-7 p.m. Immediately following the dinner, the Dock Street Band will donate an evening of live music at the Big Deck, where proceeds of special drink offerings also will benefit the Boivin family. The dinner menu will consist of quarter barbecued chicken, cold slaw, baked beans, potato salad and a variety of local seafood, plus an array of desserts. Tickets, which will be available Tuesday, will cost $10. They will be available at The Market, the Big Deck, the Dock Street Depot and many other locations around Cedar Key. |
