ANNOUNCEMENT

To All Cedar Key Residents:

Over the next couple of weeks a group of volunteers will be delivering a bag of "goodies" to all single family homes in Cedar Key. The bag includes a recycling magnet & information about the Levy County recycling program; a letter from the Fire Chief about the Vial of L.I.F.E Program; a letter from the Police Chief about the Post Hurricane Information Emergency Report (PIER) program; and information about the May 21 Clean Harbor Hazardous Material Drop Off and 2009 Drive By Hurricane Day.

Residents should be aware that the PIER form must be completed and returned to the Police Department so that a Zone Re-Entry Number can be issued to each household. Residents MUST HAVE this card & number in order to return to the island of Cedar Key after an evacuation.

Thanks from giving this important info a prominent place so residents will see it and get their PIER films filed out and returned to Chief Sandlin.
