Toastmasters and Gavel Club Present Evening of Entertainment

ANNOUNCEMENT

Toastmasters and Gavel Club will present an evening of information and entertainment Saturday, March 25 at 5 p.m. at the Cedar Key Public Library.

There will be door prizes and interesting speakers. Refreshments and goodies. Door prizes will range from a candy bar to plane ride over Cedar Key and will include art work by a psychiatrist.

The guest speaker will be Superintendent of Levy County Schools, Mr. Robert Hastings.

Other speakers will include Toastmasters Marci Wilcox, Jim Green and Jim Wilcox. Toastmaster Jim Wilcox, a professional presenter and instructor of communications, will present an entertainting and excitiing show of magic and other humor. Jim Green will give a brief on Stress and Distress. Advance Toastmaster Marci Wilcox will "speak to inform." There will be a question and answer session.

The Gavel Club is available for students under 18 years of age who cannot make regular Toastmasters club meetings or pay the dues, but still wish to improve their public speaking skills and get credit for participating in the Toastmasters program.

The Toastmasters Club/Gavel Club provides a supportive and positive learning environment to help members improve their communications and leadership skills.
