Fishing for Kids

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Division of Marine Fisheries Management is offering a free fishing program for youth at the Senator George Kirkpatrick Marine Lab by the Number 4 Bridge. Nature Coast Fishing for Youth is for kids between the ages of 6 and 16 and parents are welcome to join. Program generally begins at 9:30 and ends around 1:30. Just bring a lunch and sun protection. Topics covered includes fish id, tackle, knot tying, casting and we fish from the pier.
