Water Board Seeks to Fill Vacancy

SEWER DISTRICT

NOTICE

A vacancy exists on the Board of Commissioners of the Cedar Key Water and Sewer District. Under the Charter of the District, the vacancy shall be filled by vote of the remaining members of the District Board.

The Board will accept applications by persons interested in filling this vacancy. Please submit a letter of interest and a resume` no later than 4:30 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009. Applications received after that time will not be considered.

The Board will meet on Monday, August 24, 2009, at 5:00 p.m., at the District Offices, 510 Third Street, Cedar Key, Florida, to take action on the applications. Applicants and other members of the public may attend and be heard.
