Historical Society Sets Gala Opening

Historical Society Sets Gala Opening

ANNOUNCEMENT

An Invitation

By Joan Phelps

To the community of Cedar Key: You are cordially invited to attend the Grand Opening of the Cedar Key Historical Society museum on Sunday, November 15th from 3 to 5 p m. Tea and refreshments will be served.

After months of reconstruction, the Lutterloh Museum Building Rehabilitation project has been completed and the Historical Society is ready to present its new face to the public.

The Society wishes to acknowledge the role played by the State`s Division of Historic Preservation, the City of Cedar Key CRA and the generous support of its members and friends, that made this rehabilitation possible.

We were fortunate to have the Anglin Corporation of Gainesville with its knowledge and experience in historic preservation as our contractor. The new museum is a stunning setting for our historic exhibits. Cedar Keyá€TMs rich history is now showcased in a way that will offer visitors to our city an opportunity to explore and experience its uniqueness.

When you enter our doors on November 15th, you will be stepping into the past. The Grand Opening will be a true celebration for all who call Cedar Key home.
