Post Office Sets New Hours

The Cedar Key branch of the U.S. Postal Service announced today a new schedule, which will take effect on January 11, 2010. Beginning that day, the retail service hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.. On Saturday, the retail counter will be open from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. During the week (Monday through Friday) the retail counter will be closed for lunch from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m.

The USPS also reminds users that many services are available online at http://www.usps.com. These services include ordering stamps, looking up ZIP codes, oredering free Priority and Express Mail packaging, preparing packages for mailing, printing professional labels complete with postage and requesting free pickup for Priority and Express Mail packages.
