Have You Had Your Medicare Part D 2011 Plan Check-Up?
SHINE, a volunteer program with the FL Dept of Elder Affairs, is here to assist you in making the best informed decision for your 2011 Medicare Part D Drug Plan or Medicare Advantage Plan. Each site will have a short presentation followed by individual counseling. SHINE provides free, unbiased, and confidential counseling.
Low Income Medicare beneficiaries should ask about Extra Help (LIS) to help pay for your 2011 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs.
Are you aware of the cost changes in your plan for next year? The changes to Medicare in 2011? If you are on a Part D Plan, you will receive your 2011 info in early November.
Enrollment is from November 15 to December 31, 2010. If you decide not to change plans, do nothing! Your plan will roll-over into 2011 at the new costs.
Bring with you your Medicare Card, your 2010 Part D Plan card (if any), and all your Prescription drug bottles or a 90 day listing of your prescriptions from your pharmacy.
