Key Cedar Key News Retirement

Molly Jubitz, who for the past six years has had sole responsibility for layout and design of Cedar Key News, was honored by the Cedar Key News Board of Directors at a retirement luncheon at Kona Joe`s Cafe on June 26.
Ms. Jubitz` prior experience as Editor of the Trinidad Chronicle News and as Correspondent for the Pueblo Chieftain in Colorado prepared her well for her work at Cedar Key News. Furthermore, her legendary knowledge of local people and affairs made her invaluable as a fact checker for our paper. One hundred fifty six consecutive editions of Cedar Key News came out without fail during Ms. Jubitz` tenure.

Cedar Key News President of the Board of Directors Linda Dale presented Ms. Jubitz with a farewell card and a most useful fungible gift. Also, Robert Treat, spouse of Board member Jeri Treat, presented Ms. Jubitz with a framed photograph and an accompanying haiku written for the occasion.
