Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Design Contest

Open to all Artists.


The OFCA Planning Committee is looking for artists interested in developing artwork for Cedar Key`s 48th annual fine arts festival. The competition allows artists to use any reproducible medium (painting, drawing, photography, collage, etc.). All entries will be exhibited at the Cedar Key Arts Center beginning October 1st, 2011 through November 2nd, 2011. Artists will have the opportunity to put their pieces up for sale while on display. A panel of judges will decide and announce the Design Award Winner on Friday, October 14th, 2011.


The Design Award winner will receive a 10 x 10 booth space in the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Festival, April 28-29, 2012. The winner will also receive promotional gifts along with recognition on promotional items and marketing materials including T-shirts, posters, postcards, print advertisements, social media, and cable TV. Total prize value $250.

Artists who wish to participate must fill out an entry submission form. You can download the form at:

or call to have one mailed to you. *Please make sure to read all contest details & requirements. Artwork needs to be submitted with the signed entry form to the Cedar Key Arts Center, 457 2nd St., Cedar Key, FL by 5pm Friday, September 30th, 2011.
