Hungry for Seafood?
Want to shop at over 250 Arts and Crafts booths?
Want to enjoy two days of live music on the Gulf?
Looking for Family Fun?

The 42nd Annual Cedar Key Seafood Festival offers all that and more.

As Levy county`s largest event, the 42nd Cedar Key Seafood Festival celebrates the area`s fishing heritage, offering two days of fantastic food, shopping, music, and family fun on the beautiful island of Cedar Key.

Over 250 art and crafts exhibitors will exhibit and sell their work on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. along Cedar Key`s Second Street in the annual Seafood Festival Arts and Crafts Fair.

On Saturday morning at 11 a.m., the crowd pleasing Lions Club sponsored Seafood Festival Parade proceeds down Gulf Boulevard to the City Marina. Floats, decorated golf carts, bikes, boats, cars, and individuals compete in good humored fun for awards, cash prizes and the best sea creature costume. Participation is free. For parade registration information, contact Pam Oakley at (352) 543-0809.

And then there`s the seafood!

Organized by the Cedar Key Lions Club, the Food in the Park is a community wide fundraising event with over a dozen Cedar Key community groups, churches, nonprofits, and school clubs serving up fresh seafood and homemade delicacies in food court booths at the beachside city park.

Ymmmmm!!!

Typical of the delicacies at the festival are fried fish sandwiches, clam fritters, funnel cakes, smoked mullet, crab cakes, corn on the cob, French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, coke, iced tea, coffee, ice cold water, lemonade, cakes, cookies, and deserts.

Enjoy your seafood under a cabana while listening to free live music at the seaside in Cedar Key`s beachfront City Park.

The Live Music in the Park, sponsored by the Cedar Key Lions Club takes place from noon until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, presenting great music sets performed by outstanding Central Florida musicians.
Saturday`s music includes the popular Central Florida band, Babies with Rabies, while Sunday`s music features an new Central Florida international flavored band, Past Tense, featuring Neil Shaw from England,

Live music continues in the evening at local establishments throughout the island.

The 42nd Cedar Key Seafood Festival is organized by the Cedar Key Lions Club and the Cedar Key Lioness with community support and an assisting grant from the Florida Gulf Safe Seafood program.
